The chamber was originally founded in 1946 as the Grandview Area Businessmen’s Association. With a founding group of just 26 members, the association quickly became an active and positive pro-business force in the community. In 1986, the association voted to become a full-fledged Chamber of Commerce. The Grandview Heights and Marble Cliff city governmental authorities donated both money and office space in the City of Grandview Heights Municipal Building in order to jump-start the Chamber. Today, the Chamber boasts a wide diversity of members, from home-based entrepreneurs to large, national corporations. The Chamber’s office is located on Grandview Avenue in the hub of the area’s commercial, retail and entertainment district. With a committed executive director and an active, involved board of trustees, the Grandview Marble Cliff Area Chamber of Commerce works diligently to meet the needs of its diverse membership.
